I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of August 6th (26170/1921) and of copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong forwarding a report by Dr. H. H. Scott, Government Bacteriologist.

2. I have referred Dr. Scott's Report to Col. S. Lyle Cummins, Professor of Tuberculosis in the University of Wales, the Bureau Sectional Editor for that subject, who is exceptionally well qualified to give an opinion on the report, and enclose his remarks, which I have no doubt the Honorary Managing Committee of the Bureau would endorse, if it were desired they can be put before the Committee at its next meeting, which will probably take place at some date in October.

The Report will be returned later in the week.
